The Japanese love curry and they use it to flavor everything. Similar to American’s and their nacho cheese. Here they are flavoring the classic Japanese cultural icon: Cup Noodles with the strong kick of curry. Which, apparently, is not enough.
In this case they are not only flavoring something that is flavoring something, but they are doing it with iconic international flavors from countries around the world.
They should call it the “World-Cup-Noodles.”
Unfortunately this falls under my theory; Just because two different things taste great, doesn’t mean you should combine them. That is why they don’t make “Chinese burrito hotdogs.” Its why places like Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles are a one time visit. will never be more than a one time visit. And in this case why Italian Curry Cup Noodle is not as good and the regular flavor.
